CONCEPT REPORT

The concept report was the first assignment of the second semester. The class was divided into small groups. Each group had to create an inspiring fashion concept for an already existing 
non-fashion brand. 
This project started with doing research into the brand. My group got the brand Opinel, a company specialized in knives. Besides general brand research we had to investigate future social and fashion trends and find out about the climate of today’s consumer market. We had to make many mood boards to demonstrate our choices and research. 
As a concept for the brand extension we created a men’s fashion line that displays a fusion between outdoor wear and current fashion. 
This project gave a first glimpse into fashion and management. We had to work closely together and find the right balance to create the best outcome. We learned to find the right trends and use the right information to build a realistic brand extension.
